Testosterone Cypionate

Testosterone Cypionate is an esterified variant of Testosterone, and is the second most popular testosterone variant with the first being Testosterone Enanthate. It is an injectable form of Testosterone with a slow rate of release and a long half-life allowing relatively long periods between injections.  The release rates and half-life of Testosterone Cypionate and Testosterone Enanthate are so close that they are seamlessly interchangeable even mid cycle, Nexgen Steroids.

Testosterone is used as the base measurement by which all other anabolic steroids are measured against.  Testosterone is also the most natural anabolic steroid because it is already manufactured by the human body so every individual’s body is already accustomed to the effects of Testosterone only to a lesser degree. Essentially, the use of Testosterone for the purpose of physique and performance enhancement is simply the supplementation of additional Testosterone.  Testosterone is however an aromatizable anabolic steroid, meaning it converts (aromatizes) into Estrogen in the body. The aromatization rate of Testosterone Cypionate in relation to other anabolic steroids is moderate at best and heavily dependent on dosage.  Potential estrogenic side effects include water retention and bloating, increases in blood pressure, and potential development of gynecomastia.

A very small percentage of individuals have reported irritated injection sites in response to the Enanthate variant, and find the Cypionate variant to be better in terms of the injection site comfort and reaction.
